There are certain ways does a website communicate to visitors. Among the technique use in web Designing are the copy (writing) and the intelligent use of colors.

Colors serve as a means of communication. Creating your website with the creative use of colors can give you many advantages. The basic knowledge of using color scheme is that it creates impact and affects the mood of visiting readers. It creates a broad array of emotion and influences the visitor's decision making. Also, the creative use of colors will make your website professional feel and give your visitors a clear message that you mean business. Creating a balance between your content and the color of your web page draws attention to visitors, and it helps you materialize what your website wants to say or selling.

Color comes in primary colors the red, blue, and yellow. These three colors form the triad. Mixing two primary colors together creates the secondary colors like mixing red and blue will create purple. Understanding the different color variation will create powerful impact to your website.

Green - this color denotes conservative emotion and it is associated with money and security. Phrases associated with green: "Order from us", "Secure", "Education" and "We don't gamble with your money".

Yellow - this color is associated with movement. The use of yellow is good in creating logos and banners. The use of yellow, however, in highlighting text is not recommended. Also, remember that yellow can be difficult to read on white and other background. Some of the words associated with this color: "Hurry up, ""Get it now", "Go", and "Fast".

Black - this color is sometimes good in many created personal web site. "Dark", "hopelessness", and "High-tech" are associated with this color. Use black with any words and phrases.

Purple - this color denotes royalty and justice. The use of purple, however, also promotes ambiguity and indisposition. Highlight purple with the words: "Law", "Fairness", "Hierarchy", "Family", and "Honor".

Other colors worth noted are the neon colors and the medium/neutral tones. The latter is used for older audiences while the former is best use for sites with teenage visitors.
